"I'm excited to start a new chapter and discover new things about myself! I heard KSU has a great computer science program, plus it's close to home and I like the area. I'm most excited about eating at the Commons because I've heard that's great, too!"
— Eddie Vasquez, KSU student
"I love it here. The atmosphere is really positive, and everybody's been friendly and really helpful. We had a really smooth check-in — it's very organized, very detailed. I'm nervous, not going to lie. I want him to do well, and I know he will."
— Valerie Hightower, KSU parent
"I’m nervous, but I’m also excited. It’s more like a curious kind of nervous. I'm excited for the intramural sports, for sure. I can’t wait to meet my classmates and check out all the clubs. Just student life in general."
— Lakeriah Smith, KSU student
"I really like KSU's campus. I like that I can have my own experience, but it's not too far away from home. I'm looking forward to joining communities and participating in different activities!"
— Keshaun Pettis, KSU student
"I’m super excited! We’ve been preparing for this for a couple of years now. He’s really excited today, with eyes wide open, so to speak. Seeing him gain that sense of independence, getting on a schedule, and doing things without a parent looking over his shoulder — it's really exciting. My oldest son went to KSU a few years ago and graduated back in 2019. I know it's a good campus with good structure, a very good staff, and a solid pathway for success."
